The 2026 World Abilitysport Guttmann Games entered its third day of competition on August 19, with the Para Dance Sport events getting underway. The Hong Kong, China delegation delivered an impressive performance, capturing two gold medals and two silver medals.
WONG Wo Chau and YU Chun Yin Matthew claimed gold medals in the Men Single Class 1 and Men Single Class 2 events respectively. In the women's competition, SO Tsz Yan Susanna added a silver medal in the Women Single Class 1+2. She later teamed up with LEE Pui Yin in the Combi Standard Class 1+2, where the pair secured another silver medal for Hong Kong, China.
In Disability Snooker, Hong Kong, China athletes have completed all their competitions. In the final Group 1+2 round-robin match, MA Wah Keung defeated teammate NG Cheuk Pong 2-0, but the results were not enough to secure a place in the knockout stage. In the Group 3 competition, LAM Kai Ming lost 0-2 to Poland's Adam Wilk in his final group match and likewise failed to advance.
The 2026 World Abilitysport Games will conclude on August 20. Hong Kong, China's Para Dance Sport team will continue its campaign on the final day, aiming to add to its medal tally and achieve further success.
